Report 2025
Annual Report 2025: Reaching More Young People – Unlocking Individual Potential Remains Our Mission
For Youth & Work, 2025 was a year of growth and impact. Supporting 389 young adults, the organisation recorded an 18% increase compared with the previous year. Since its foundation in 2012, Youth & Work has helped more than 3,800 young people take the next step towards education, employment or a new direction in life.
The organisation maintained its consistently high success rate of 77%. A total of 136 participants completed their coaching and mentoring programme by progressing into a positive outcome, whether permanent employment, fixed-term employment, an apprenticeship, or enrolment in school or university. Particularly noteworthy was the significant increase in apprenticeship placements, highlighting the strength of Youth & Work's collaboration with training providers and partner organisations.
At the same time, the Annual Report illustrates the growing complexity of the challenges faced by the young people taking part in the programme. Nearly half of all participants began without a clear career direction, around one third had no recognised qualification, and almost one in three reported experiencing mental health difficulties. More than half were facing several social challenges simultaneously, including financial hardship, insecure housing, family conflict and social isolation.
It is also noteworthy that more than half of all participants were not registered with ADEM at the start of the programme. This demonstrates that Youth & Work reaches young adults who are not yet adequately served by existing support services.
The findings clearly show that successful integration into education and the labour market requires far more than job placement alone. Personalised support, career guidance, stabilising personal circumstances, and close cooperation with public authorities, municipalities, social organisations and employers remain essential to achieving sustainable outcomes. This reflects Youth & Work's holistic approach: meeting young people where they are and supporting them in building an independent and sustainable professional future.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all our partner organisations, municipalities, businesses and public institutions for their trust and valued collaboration. Together, we create opportunities for young people and strengthen their prospects for lasting social and professional integration.
